Mounting an Insta360 / DJI Selfie Stick
Step 1.
Remove passenger footrest
First, remove the left passenger footrest, if present. On some motorcycles, e.g. Yamaha models, the rider’s seat must be removed first.
Step 2.
Install the adapters
Insert the adapters for your selfie stick into the mount. The adapters should audibly click into place and lock securely.
Step 3.
Assemble the selfie stick
Insert the selfie stick into the mount. Do not tighten the Allen screws yet.
Attach the aluminum bracket to your motorcycle using the supplied M8 bolts. Tighten them only hand-tight at this stage.
Step 4.
Align the bracket
Align the bracket using the elongated holes, then tighten the mounting bolts. Finally, tighten the Allen screws.
Note: Since this is a clamping connection, the screws do not need to be overtightened. They are also equipped with reusable thread-locking compound to prevent them from loosening during use.
Step 5.
Screw on the camera
Done!
Now mount your 360° camera onto the selfie stick and enjoy impressive third-person shots on your next ride.
Ride safe and have fun with your RideMount!
